One Day One Action

That feeling you get when you do something nice for someone else. I could be having a bad day and that one act of kindness would change my whole day. For me, doing nice things for others is more fulfilling than someone doing something nice for me.

One action makes a difference. One action shows someone you care. One action shines a light for Jesus. One action.

The cashier at the store. You do not know their life situation, but you could be the only smiling face they see today. A kind word from you could make a huge impact in this person’s day.

The person who turned in front of you. Extending grace in this moment could be the only love they experience today.

The coworker. Extending grace in the face of adversity shows the light of Jesus to everyone in your place of business.

I believe that we can start a movement. Here it goes.

For everyone reading this, complete one act of kindness each day. This act of kindness cannot be for the same person every day. That is the only way this will work.

If an act of kindness is shown to you, pay it forward. If the person in front of you pays for your meal, then pay for the meal of the person behind you. You will be amazed at how the whole atmosphere of a place changes when this happens.

Not only is the recipient of the act of kindness blessed, but all those around who see are also blessed and you will be blessed too.

One day, one action. You can make a difference in this world.

Kindness can spread. This world can change. It all starts with you.

Are you ready?
