Time

We live like we have an abundance of time. We spend our days as though time does not matter. We can put off our service to the Lord because there will always be plenty of time.

This is simply not true. Time is a precious commodity. Once it passes, there is no way to get it back. Did you miss your opportunity to tell someone about Jesus? Did you miss a defining moment in someone’s life? Can your time really make a difference?

One word. One action. One deed. One moment in time can change a life.

If you are looking at your day and it is overwhelming to think of adding another thing to your already hectic schedule, start small. One moment at a time. This is not meant to be a burden, but a blessing.

Your time is important. You have work, family, obligations. Every second seems to be spoken for. But do you not have a moment to send an encouraging message, share on social media, pray with someone, be a light to another, show the love of Jesus to the hurting.

Life gets so busy that we forget that there is a world of people longing for something different. They are looking to fill that void in their lives. A void that can only be filled by Jesus Christ. Those people need us. They need us to point them to the truth. To show them the love of Jesus. They need our time. They deserve our attention.

Let us treat time as precious, knowing that our seconds, minutes, and hours can make a difference in the life of another.
