Until The Whole World Hears

As I think back to what Jesus was doing in His last week on this earth, He was teaching. He was imparting wisdom, passing along His knowledge, and telling others about His love. I am sure that the cross was on His mind, but we were on His mind as well.

He could have secluded Himself and spent His last week in prayer. He could have gone in a different direction and not headed toward His death. He could have done anything, and He chose to teach.

If you knew that this week was your last week, what would you spend your time doing? Would you tell others you love them? Would you hold your loved ones a little tighter? Would you spend your time on the road pointing the way to Jesus? Would you call everyone you know and tell them about the love of Jesus?

We live like we have an unlimited amount of days. We live like there is always going to be a tomorrow.

Tomorrow is not promised. Tomorrow might come for you, but might not come for someone you know.

Jesus knew the length of His days and it did not change His direction.

There are so many people in this world that are waiting to hear about the love of Jesus. People who are hurting. People who are searching. People that Jesus loves. People that Jesus died for.

What can you do to make a difference? Make those calls you have been putting off. Talk to people who are on your mind. Reach out to those who are hurting. Be the hands and feet of Jesus.

On this last week of the life of Jesus, turn your life over to Him. Allow Him to guide your life. Whatever you have put off, say yes today.

Celebrate this Resurrection Sunday with a new or renewed heart for service.

There is work to do – until the whole world hears.
