I love to write. That statement was not always true. There was a time when I tried to reason with God because I was not a writer, and no one would want to read anything I could write. Even though all of that was the truth, it was never about what I could do on my own abilities, but what God could do through me.

Once I got myself out of the way, the Lord was ready to shine. I love to read these writings. These words are just the words that I need to hear.

I do not have life figured out. I sin every day. There are days when I am completely disheartened by this world. Days that I am frustrated and think I will never write again. In those moments, these words speak to my heart. They remind me that the God I love is bigger than any situation or circumstance that I face. They remind me that God will make a way if I will stay the course. They remind me that no matter what happens in this world, God loves me, and He is for me.

None of us are perfect. We have all fallen short of perfection. We mess up. We stumble. We fall down. Sometimes, we lay down and stay there for a while. This next step is so important. What will we do after the fall? Get back up and keep moving forward.

Let go of what is holding you back. You are important to God. Right now, wherever you are, God loves you and is calling you. Yes, you. However you are trying to reason your way out of what He has called you to do, stop. Think for one moment. We are all sinners. The only difference is that I quit making excuses and said yes to God.

Apply the scriptures to your life.

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Isaiah 51:16 – And I have put My words in your mouth

Ephesians 4:1 – I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called

Matthew 28:19-20 – Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Jeremiah 29:13 – And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
