There are days when I feel unqualified to do the things that the Lord has called me to do. Then, there are days when I allow others to make me feel unqualified.

There are days when I feel that nothing I have done is working. There are times when I think I should give up writing.

I say all of that to say this – we all have those days. We all struggle. Life is hard. Following Jesus is hard.

You do not have to walk this life alone. Find another Christian and lift each other up. When you are struggling, they can be your encourager, and when they are struggling, you will be their encourager.

I never want you to think that you have to keep it all inside, that no one else would understand what you are going through. We need to quit putting on a brave face and ask for prayer, help, and encouragement.

Just the other day, I told my husband I was thinking of giving up writing because it was getting too hard. He did not miss a beat and told me not to let the devil win. That is exactly what I needed to hear at that moment.

Not everyone will understand your path. Not everyone will agree with your plans. Not everyone will support your choices. As long as you are following God’s plan for your life, you will come against opposition.

It is time to get real with one another so we can support each other.
