Who Are You

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38

Who are you ? I do not want the obvious answers, dig deeper. I am Kevin’s wife, but who am I. I am a Christian, but still deeper. We call ourselves many things, but what are we really doing with those titles? When I introduce myself as Kevin’s wife, can I honestly say that I put time, effort, and support into my marriage. When I tell people I am a Christian, is it because I am loving and extend grace or judgmental and close minded.

It is time to examine who we are. Do we want our Church pews full or are we happy sitting in our spots? Will we move outside of our comfort zones or ignore the call of Jesus? Will we take on impossible tasks to see what God can accomplish through us? Will we love others, no matter what, and tell them about the love of Jesus?

Right now, the laborers are few. Right now, those laborers are weary. Right now, is a great time to decide to follow the Lord. Right now, the world needs you. Right now, we need to quit playing Church and be the Church.
