Blessings in Disguise

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. Psalm 28:7

When we walk through difficult situations or circumstances, we focus so much on what is wrong that we lose focus of the blessings. They are all around us. Even in the toughest times, blessings are abundant. It is our change of attitude and perspective that brings the blessings into focus.

We focus on the noise of the situation. It screams for our attention. The more we focus on the situation, the louder the noise becomes. Evil desperately wants to hold your attention. To take your eyes off of Jesus. To lose sight of what is good. To never see the blessings abundantly poured into your life. To dim your light to the point that no one can see Jesus in you.

We have to realize the tricks of the evil one and not allow him to win. We serve a risen Savior. He walks with us daily. He fights our battles, if we allow Him. He has already won the victory. He wants your light to shine brightly as you walk through this situation so that the whole world can see the love of Jesus in you.

Victory is within your grasp! Make a course correction. Recognize the tricks of the evil one. Do not allow them to rule your life. Take back your light! Look for the blessings. Realize that God loves you and allow Him to walk with you through this.

God’s got this and God’s got you.
