When we start our day, we have the best intentions, but that does not seem to be how our day unfolds. Almost like if you were given a choice of how the day could go – the only options were hard, difficult, or nearly impossible. We come to the end of the day and wonder what happened.
We can start our day with the best attitude, walk out the door, and never see the hit coming. The evil one is so sneaky.
I love John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (NIV)
You will walk through trouble. You will experience hardships. You will have bad days.
But take heart. That sentence should be read with an extra emphasis. Try is again. BUT take heart. God knows everything. He knows that there will be times when we need encouragement. Times when we need to know that better days are ahead.
There is peace found in a relationship with the Lord. There is love. There is comfort.
He has overcome the world. There is nothing too big for Him to handle. There is no situation or circumstance that you will walk through that He will not be right by your side.
Take heart! Keep walking your path. Rise above what is going on in your life right now. God’s got this!
